Egypt is the largest domestic market in North Africa and, for a lot of buyers, the distribution base for Libya and Sudan as well. It is also the market where the first order is most likely to be delayed by paperwork rather than production — which is why we raise that on this page rather than at the port.
The two facts that decide the specification
220 V, 50 Hz — Type C and Type F plugs
Egypt uses the two-pin Europlug and the round-pin Schuko at 220 V. Both are asked for in the same market, so it is worth deciding per SKU rather than per order. Tools must be rated 220–240 V, and we confirm the plug moulding against your order before production.
Factory registration is the item that delays first orders
Egypt's import regime requires the producing factory, not just the exporter, to hold registration with the import authority for many categories of goods. It is a factory-side process and it cannot be started after the goods are made. Raise it at the enquiry stage: the practical effect is that the right factory has to be chosen before we quote, not after.

Egypt has a large construction and finishing trade alongside a Nile-delta agricultural economy. A range that only covers one of those leaves half the container empty.

Getting it into Alexandria or Damietta
Start with the registration question, not the price list
Tell us the category and the destination port first. If the goods fall under a registration requirement, we need to confirm which producing factory can be used before we quote — quoting first and discovering it afterwards wastes weeks for both sides.
Tell us the list, the port and the volumes
Models or categories, quantities and destination port — usually Alexandria, Damietta or Port Said. If part of the consignment is destined for Libya or Sudan, say so before packing, because the documents and carton marking change.
We quote FOB, in writing, once
Unit price, MOQ, carton dimensions and weights, units per carton, lead time, certification status and trade terms in one document you can forward internally. Prices are never published on this site.
Documents before the vessel sails
Invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and certification files where applicable, prepared while the goods are still in China. The inspection record is sent with the shipment: what we check and what you receive.
Payment, trade terms and what we will not claim
FOB, T/T, confirmed in writing
We ship FOB Shenzhen, Ningbo or Yiwu, so the freight contract and the bill of lading are yours. Payment is T/T — a deposit against the confirmed order and the balance before shipment — written into the proforma rather than agreed on a call.
If CIF or delivered pricing suits you better we will introduce forwarders we work with; they contract with you directly, so you see the actual freight cost rather than a margin inside ours.
What we are
We are a trading and export company, not a manufacturer. We buy from vetted Chinese factories, inspect the batch before it is loaded, and ship under our own brand or yours. We do not publish prices, we do not claim to be a factory, and we do not brand other people's trademarks.
