FAQ
Everything buyers ask before the first order
Grouped by what you are trying to decide: who we are, how ordering and samples work, how shipping and trade terms run, and what private label actually changes. If your question is not here, ask it directly — you will have an answer within one business day.
Working with us
Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a trading and export company based in Shenzhen, China. We do not own a factory, and we say so plainly. What we own is the part most overseas buyers actually struggle with: choosing the right model, getting samples approved, inspecting production before it ships, applying your brand, consolidating the container and preparing export documents. For buyers who already know exactly what they want, we are a reliable order-execution partner. For buyers who do not, we are the filter that stops a bad specification leaving China.
What is your minimum order quantity?
For stock models, samples ship from 1 unit so you can test the product before committing. For private-label (OEM/ODM) production the minimum is 30 units per model. Mixed containers across several models are welcome — you do not have to fill a container with one item.
What trade terms do you work on?
Our standard term is FOB Shenzhen, Ningbo or Yiwu. If you need CIF or delivery to your door, tell us at the enquiry stage and we will introduce a freight forwarder we work with — you contract with them directly, so you keep control of the freight cost and the bill of lading.
Which markets do you mainly serve?
Africa and the Middle East, with particular experience in West Africa, North Africa, Iraq, the Gulf states and the Levant. Our practical experience here matters more than a list of countries: power tools into these markets need the right plug type, the right voltage, the right packaging to survive the journey, and documentation that clears without argument.
What certifications do you have?
CE is available as standard on our power tools. If your market requires something else — SASO, SONCAP, COC or a specific test report — we will tell you honestly whether we can provide it and what it costs and how long it takes. Certification required by your market is arranged at your request, and the cost is quoted transparently before we start.
Do you publish your prices?
No. FOB prices move with component cost, exchange rates and freight, and your exact configuration — bare tool or kit, one battery or two, packaging, plug type — changes the number. Send us the list of models and we will send a written quotation with a stated validity period.
How quickly do you reply?
Within one business day, in English, Chinese or Arabic. Enquiries that include the model, quantity and destination port get a priced answer fastest.
In which languages can we communicate?
English, Chinese and Arabic. We correspond by email and WhatsApp, and we can send quotations and packing lists in the language you prefer.
Ordering & samples
How do we start working together?
Three steps. First, tell us the models, quantities and your destination port — or tell us what sells in your market and ask us what we would recommend. Second, we send a written FOB quotation with a validity period. Third, you approve samples before bulk production. Nothing moves to bulk production until you have seen and approved a sample.
Can I order samples?
Yes. Samples ship from 1 unit for stock models, and we encourage mixed sample orders across several categories so you can test a range in one shipment. Sample cost and freight are confirmed up front in writing.
Do you approve samples before bulk production?
Yes, always. We send a sample for your written approval and keep a signed-off reference unit on our side. Bulk production is checked against that reference — not against a description on a piece of paper.
What are the payment terms?
Our standard terms are T/T with a deposit on order and the balance before shipment. The exact split is confirmed in your quotation and proforma invoice. We do not ask for payment before you have a written quotation and a proforma invoice in hand.
How long does production take?
Stock models normally ship within a few days of payment. Bulk orders on stock models are typically 25–35 days after deposit; private-label runs take 30–40 days, because artwork approval comes first. The lead time we quote in writing is the one we stand behind.
Can I private-label the tools with my own brand?
Yes. Body colour, silkscreen, case artwork, carton artwork and instruction manual are all part of our OEM programme, from 30 units per model. Send us your logo and we will prepare a mock-up before anything is produced.
Shipping & trade terms
Which ports do you ship from?
Shenzhen, Ningbo and Yiwu, depending on the model and the best routing for your destination. We will tell you which port gives you the better sailing and rate for your cargo.
Can you consolidate several suppliers into one container?
Yes. If you buy from several Chinese suppliers, we can receive, inspect and consolidate the goods and load a single container — useful when you want one supplier relationship without giving up the price advantages of buying from several.
Can you ship less than a container load?
Yes. LCL is available when your volume does not justify a full container. Tell us the volume and destination port and we will quote both options so you can compare landed cost per unit.
Who arranges the freight?
On FOB terms you do. If that is not convenient, we can introduce a freight forwarder we work with for CIF or door delivery — you contract with the forwarder directly, so you always see the actual freight cost and hold the bill of lading.
How is the goods packed?
Export cartons sized for container loading, with the packing configuration confirmed on your proforma invoice — units per carton, carton weight and total volume. Getting the carton dimensions right before production is what keeps your landed cost per unit predictable.
OEM / ODM & private label
What is the difference between OEM and ODM in your programme?
OEM means we build an existing model to your brand: your logo, colour and packaging on a tool that already exists. ODM means we take your requirement and select or adapt a model to meet it, then brand it as yours. Most buyers start with OEM on two or three proven models and move to ODM once they know what their market buys.
What can I customise?
Body colour, printed logo, rating label, blow-moulded case, colour box, instruction manual and accessory selection. Tell us the price point you need to hit and we will tell you which of these we can include without breaking it.
Do you handle the instruction manual and labelling?
Yes, and this is worth more than it sounds. An instruction manual and a rating label in the wrong language, or with the wrong voltage, is a customs problem in several markets. We prepare them to match your destination.
Can you match a battery platform I already sell?
Usually yes. Send us a photograph of your existing battery pack and the terminal dimensions, and we will confirm whether we can match the interface so that one charger serves your whole range.
What is the minimum for private label?
30 units per model for private label. Stock models can be shipped from 1 unit, so you can test demand before committing to a branded programme.
Quick answers to the four most common questions
What is your MOQ?
One unit for samples. 30 units per model for private-label production. Mixed containers across several models are welcome.
What are your trade terms?
FOB Shenzhen, Ningbo or Yiwu. For CIF or door delivery we introduce a forwarder you contract with directly. See shipping and trade terms.
Are you a factory?
No, and we do not pretend to be. We are a Shenzhen-based trading and export company — see about us for what that means in practice.
Why are there no prices on this site?
Because the right price depends on your configuration, your quantity and your port. Send a list and you get a written quotation with a validity period.
Question not answered here?
Ask it plainly. You will get a straight answer within one business day — including a "no" or a "we are not sure" if that is the honest reply.
