What happens to what you send us
The enquiry form is the only place on this site that asks you for anything personal. This page says exactly what it collects, where that goes, and how to get it removed. It describes what this site actually does, not a template.
What the form collects
Only what you type into it. The fields are:
- Your name — so the reply is addressed to a person
- Company name — optional, and we quote more usefully when we have it
- Email address — how the quotation reaches you
- WhatsApp number — optional, used only if you prefer it or if email bounces
- Country, destination port, product interest, quantity and your message — the commercial content of the enquiry itself
- The page you submitted from — recorded automatically, so we know whether a question came from a product page or a market page
One further field is hidden from view and labelled “Website”. It exists only to catch automated submissions. If it is filled in, the message is discarded before any of the above is stored, mailed or forwarded.
Why we have it
To answer you and to quote. That is the whole purpose. We do not use enquiry data for advertising or profiling, and there is no mailing list to be added to — we have never sent one.
Where it goes
| Our sales mailbox | A quotation request is mailed to sales@vortontools.com so a person reads it and can reply. |
|---|---|
| Our customer-record store | A record is written to storage on our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which is where this site is served from. |
| Our CRM | If a forwarding address is configured, the same enquiry is passed to our customer-relationship system so the follow-up is not lost. |
Those are the only destinations. We do not sell enquiry data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to any third party except the service providers named above, who process it on our instructions.
The one thing worth knowing. If none of the delivery channels above is configured when you submit the form, the enquiry would reach nobody. That is a deployment failure on our side, not something you did wrong — which is why the site logs a loud error rather than quietly thanking you. If you do not hear back within one business day, write to sales@vortontools.com directly.
How long we keep it
As long as the commercial relationship needs it: long enough to quote, to fulfil the order if one follows, and to keep a record of the trade for accounting and dispute purposes. Enquiries that lead nowhere are not kept indefinitely by policy, but nothing on this site deletes them automatically yet — so if you want yours gone, ask.
How to see it or have it deleted
Write to sales@vortontools.com and say what you want: a copy of what we hold about you and your company, correction of anything wrong, or deletion. We will confirm what we hold and act on it. There is no form to fill in and no fee.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and carries no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes, this page will say so and say what is measured — we would rather write that sentence than have you discover it.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Shenzhen Wochen Industrial Co., Ltd. (深圳市沃晨实业有限公司), registered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Enquiries about privacy go to the same address as everything else: sales@vortontools.com.
Changes to this page
If the way enquiries are handled changes, this page changes with it and the review date at the top is updated. The date is not decoration — it is the only signal on the site that this text is current.
