Power tools for Iraqi importers, in Baghdad and in Erbil
Iraq buys two things at once: construction and repair equipment for rebuilding, and agricultural equipment for the irrigated land along the Tigris and Euphrates. It is also the market where mains power is least dependable, which changes which tools make sense.
The two facts that decide the specification
230 V, 50 Hz — and all three plug types appear in the same market
Type C, Type D and Type G are all found in Iraq, sometimes in the same shop. That is unusual, and it means the plug cannot be assumed from the voltage alone. Tell us which type your channel asks for; if you are unsure, ask for the mix your customers currently buy and we will match it per SKU rather than per container.
Mains power is not a given, so cordless earns its price
Where the grid is intermittent, a cordless tool plus spare batteries is not a convenience — it is the difference between a tool that works and one that does not. Battery platforms, spare packs and fast chargers sell alongside the tool, and they are repeat purchases. This is the market where we would carry more battery depth than usual.

Getting it into Umm Qasr, or in overland
Decide the route before you decide the packing
Southern and central Iraq usually clears through Umm Qasr. The Kurdistan Region is frequently served overland — via the Turkish border at Habur, or through Aqaba in Jordan. The route changes the transit time, the documents and sometimes the carton strength, so it needs to be settled before the container is loaded.
Start the conformity file with the enquiry, not the shipment
Iraq requires a certificate of conformity for many categories, typically arranged through an inspection body appointed by the authorities and inspected at origin. Because it is inspected in China before loading, it has to be planned with production, not after it. Confirm the current scheme with your clearance agent — the requirement is applied consistently, but the practical process is worth checking every season.
We quote FOB, in writing, once
Unit price, MOQ, carton dimensions and weights, units per carton, lead time, certification status and trade terms in one document you can forward internally. We do not publish prices: a tool price means nothing without a quantity, a configuration and a port.
Documents before the vessel sails
Invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and certification files where applicable, prepared while the goods are still in China. The inspection record travels with the shipment — what we check and what you receive.
Payment, trade terms and what we will not claim
FOB, T/T, confirmed in writing
We ship FOB Shenzhen, Ningbo or Yiwu, so the freight contract and the bill of lading are yours. Payment is T/T — a deposit against the confirmed order and the balance before shipment — written into the proforma rather than agreed on a call.
If CIF or delivered pricing suits you better we will introduce forwarders we work with; they contract with you directly, so you see the actual freight cost rather than a margin inside ours.
What we are
We are a trading and export company, not a manufacturer. We buy from vetted Chinese factories, inspect the batch before it is loaded, and ship under our own brand or yours. We do not publish prices, we do not claim to be a factory, and we do not brand other people's trademarks.
