Why corded rather than battery?
Because runtime is unlimited and the cost per unit of cutting power is lower, which is what a maintenance contractor is buying. Battery makes sense where there is no power on site; for hedges around a compound or an estate, a cord and a small generator cover more work per day for less money.
Can the blade be replaced?
Yes, and we would quote spare blades with the first order. A hardened blade lasts a season of contract work; a blade that has been run into fencing or stone does not, and sourcing a replacement locally is usually impossible.
