What this model is for
A hybrid inverter that takes solar, battery and grid or generator input and keeps the load supplied from whichever is available, with a transfer that is fast enough for a fridge, a router, a computer or a workshop light to ride through. The MPPT charger tracks the array rather than operating at a fixed voltage, so an array that would otherwise be under-used in the afternoon still charges. Surge capacity is specified against the tools and motors it will start, not only against the steady-state load.

Can it run a workshop with power tools?
Yes, provided the inverter is sized on surge and not only on running load. An angle grinder or a compressor draws several times its rated wattage for a moment at start-up. Send us the tool list and we will confirm the continuous and surge figures the inverter has to meet.
Does it work with a generator as well as the grid?
Yes. The generator input is treated as an AC source alongside the grid, which is the common configuration in markets where the mains is intermittent and a generator covers the rest.
