What this model is for
A three-mode SDS-Plus rotary hammer built for site work rather than occasional DIY: rotary drilling, hammer drilling and chiselling only. The pneumatic hammer mechanism delivers its blow through the bit rather than through the operator, and the rear handle is isolated from the housing, which is what keeps a crew drilling anchor holes productive through a full shift. Supplied with a side handle, depth gauge and a bit set sized to the shank standard you specify.
What you get
- Pneumatic hammer mechanism, so the blow reaches the bit rather than the operator
- Vibration-damped rear handle for continuous anchor-hole work
- Three modes including chisel-only, which covers most site tasks with one tool
- Depth gauge and side handle in the carton, so the tool is usable on arrival
- Bit set quoted to the shank standard your market already stocks

SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer, 800 W — buyer questions
What size holes will this drill?
Up to about 26 mm in concrete with the right bit, and the practical working range is 6 mm to 16 mm for anchor and fixing work. If your crews are regularly drilling above 26 mm, the SDS-Max class is the correct tool and the price per hole drops once you are in it.
Is one hammer enough for a site?
For drilling and light chiselling, yes. For breaking out slabs and foundations, no: that is the demolition hammer with a heavier blow and no rotation. Most first orders take the rotary hammer in volume and one or two breakers alongside it.
