What is the real difference between the 680 W and the 1000 W unit?
Not shearing speed in a clean fleece — both are quick there. The difference shows up in thick, matted or dirty wool, where the lighter machine loses speed and the operator has to slow down or make a second pass. For a contract team paid by the animal, that is the whole argument. For a smallholder flock, the 680 W unit is the better buy.
Can it run all day?
It is built for sustained work, but every handpiece needs the cutter and comb kept clean and the drive parts serviced on schedule. Buyers who treat those as consumables get seasons out of the machine; buyers who do not, replace it. We would quote a spares line with the first order.
