What this model is for
A hammer mill for on-farm and small-mill feed grinding, built around a hardened rotor, a balanced hammer set and a screen that can be changed in minutes. Grind fineness is set by the screen rather than by the motor, which matters because the right texture depends on the animal and on the raw material available that season. The grinding chamber opens without dismantling the drive, so a broken hammer or a worn screen can be replaced on the farm rather than returned for service.

How much feed will it produce per hour?
Throughput depends on the raw material and the screen: a coarse grind of dry maize runs far faster than a fine grind of a fibrous by-product. Tell us what you will grind and how fine, and we will quote the drive and screen combination that gives you the tonnes per hour you need rather than a headline figure taken at the best possible setting.
Can it grind wet or high-moisture material?
Ground grain should be dry, and a hammer mill is the wrong machine for wet or oily material, which clogs the screen. For fresh forage the right machine is a chaff cutter, and we would rather point you at that than sell you a mill that will not do the job.
